Reservation Fees & Deposits
To secure your room and date, a $1500 non-refundable reservation fee is required for larger functions; and a $750 non-refundable reservation fee is required for smaller events. This fee will be applied towards your total charges on the final bill. A deposit of 50% of your projected total bill is due 90 days prior to your event. Full payment of your estimated balance is due 10 days prior to your event. Payment of charges in excess of the estimate are due the day of the function when the bill is presented. Acceptable forms of payment are cashiers check, money order, travelers’ check, and credit cards. We accept Visa, MasterCard, and Discover.
There are standard room rentals and set up charges that apply to all functions. Rooms are rented in four (4) hour increments. You are also guaranteed two hours prior to the function for all deliveries and set up requirements. A charge of $300 will be assessed for each additional hour.
Standard linens are provided at no additional charge. A linen charge of $12 per table will be assessed for all floor length round linens required.
A final guarantee is required ten days prior to your event. There is a 20 person minimum for all events unless receiving prior authorization from management. If attendance falls below the guarantee, the host will be financially responsible for the number guaranteed. Any increase is subject to availability. Dubsdread Catering will prepare for 10% over the guaranteed number and the host would be charged at the agreed upon rate for additional guests within the 10% overage. All guests over the 10% variance will be billed at 20% over the original amount.

Outside Food, Beverage & Alcoholic Beverage Service
Due to health department and alcohol beverage regulations, outside food and beverage are not permitted, with the exception of celebration cakes. As a licensee of the state Alcoholic Beverage Control Authority, Dubsdread Catering strictly adheres to all laws and regulations pertaining to service and sale of alcoholic beverages. We ask for your understanding and must insist on your cooperation in preventing sales to minors and/or intoxicated persons.
Dubsdread Catering, at its discretion, may require security for certain events. The cost of these services will be the responsibility of the client.
All tables, centerpieces, and other decorations must meet fire and safety codes and regulations. In addition, Dubsdread Catering does not permit anything to be affixed to the walls, ceilings, furniture, fixtures, or any other property unless Dubsdread gives approval. In the event any of the preceding is done without authorization, the person and/or company responsible for the function will pay the cost of any repair and/or damage to the property. Removal of all decorations is the responsibility of the client. Removal of all items must be done at the end of the event.
Tax and Service Charge
22% Service charge will be added to all food and beverage. State sales tax will be added to all charges.
Loss & Damages
Dubsdread Catering is not responsible for any damages or loss of merchandise or articles left prior to, during, or after any event. The client agrees to be responsible to any damages to Dubsdread Catering, Highland Manor or The Veranda At Thornton Park property by the client’s guest and attendees of the event.
Additional Charges & Fees
Birdseed, rice, confetti, glitter, and sparklers are not permitted on property. Additional charges will be assessed to all groups failing to comply with this policy. Bubbles and rose petals are permitted in the outside area only.
Dubsdread Catering reserves the right to apply a minimum expenditure to events booked based on date, time, and season. This minimum, if applied, is the total of food & beverage before taxes and service charge.
All changes to the times on a contract during the event planning process must be approved by management and are subject to availability. Please see event contract for schedule of events. The event begins when guests arrive at the venue and will run in length for the total time contracted by the client. Clients can approve of time extensions at any time. Events must not run longer than the scheduled time of departure or the scheduled length of the event unless a time extension is paid for.
Dubsdread Catering is able to prepare special meals to meet the dietary restrictions of event guests; however, our kitchen is not Kosher, Halal, or gluten-free certified.
